  本科毕业于加州州立大学索诺玛分校，获得英语文学学位。

  除了她的英语学位外，劳拉还获得了教学证书和TESOL认证。劳拉已从教16余年。

  劳拉说：“高中生让我保持年轻的幽默感和探索性，他们让我觉得自己年轻。此外，我喜欢高中生的奇特本性，目睹他们学习的“啊哈”时刻。教学是我一生中的乐趣之一。”

  业余时间劳拉喜欢教学和弹钢琴，写卡片和信件，尝试新的食谱。在天气好的时候，她经常长时间散步，在圣克鲁斯骑自行车或在当地海滩滑水。她非常喜欢阅读，做瑜伽和访问亲密朋友。

  Earning an English-Literature degree from Sonoma State University set Laura on her path to becoming an English teacher.In addition to her English degree,Laura earned a teaching credential and TESOL certification.Laura is in her 16th year of teaching.

  According to Laura,“High school students allow me to maintain my youthful sense of humor and explorative nature;they make me feel young at heart.Additionally,I enjoy the curious nature of high school students and witnessing their“ah-ha”moments that come with learning.Teaching is one of the greatest joys in my life.”

  Outside of school,Laura enjoys teaching and playing the piano,writing cards and letters,and trying new recipes.In good weather,you will find her going on long walks,riding bikes in Santa Cruz or wakeboarding at a local beach.Her quieter pursuits include reading,yoga and visiting with close friends.
